HOW WE GOT STARTED

A Note from our Founder

We have found that many local senior citizens in Henry County have needs that go unmet. It is our desire to see that these needs are met at no cost to the senior. The idea came to me when I found myself helping many of my older friends. A visit here and there. A listening and note taking ear at a doctor visit and later forwarding info to their relative. Sitting with someone in the hospital when no one else could. The Leviticus Group believes that everyone, especially seniors, should be respected, loved and cared for. --- Mona Norton

TLG comes along beside senior adults during times of short term and temporary needs.

SENIOR OUTREACH

Spending quality Time

With this initiative, our goal is to provide seniors with one-on-one time with volunteers who are willing to spend time reading, writing letters, praying or simply listening to people with this need.

FINDING RECOURSES

Matching senior with Programs

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the challenge of having healthy meals. We match seniors with programs they qualify for and in some cases, we may provide meals.
